Take Charge of Your Sales and Use
Tax
In one day of intensive training on sales
tax and use tax, this seminar will review the major issues facing
sellers and buyers. This class will help make your operation more
efficient, save unnecessary taxes, make audits easier, and avoid penalties. At the end of
the day, you'll know about the things your company should be worried
about, and how to deal with them.
This seminar is ideal for
professionals from accounts payable, accounting, purchasing, operations,
sales, and executive management.
States Covered
Public Seminars
These seminars are always geared for
the state where the seminar is physically located. But we also compare and contrast with the way most other states handle
the issue. This approach gives all of the participants local
information, context of how their state fits into the larger picture, and an understanding of the way
issues are generally handled.
To address the needs of participants who
need other detailed state information, we also provide state-specific
webinars that will be available for all sales tax states. They can
then get the seminar experience, and fill in the detail information they
need with a separate online event.
Private Seminars
Multiple selected states can be covered
in private seminars. But please be aware that the seminar will
require extra preparation, and possibly extra materials. And it
will be much more difficult for the participants to absorb the information.
There is no upper limit on the number of states handled, but there are
challenges. We'd be happy to work with you to develop a seminar
that will give your staff the maximum benefit.
Industries Covered
Public Seminars
Because virtually every possible type of
business is present in our public seminars, we provide an overview of
most industries. Happily, the basic theory that represents much of
the seminar is the same for the vast majority of
organizations.
To address the needs of participants who
need detailed, industry specific seminars, we also provide specific
webinars that will be available for many types of businesses. They
can then get the seminar experience, and fill in the detail information
they need with a separate online event.
Private Seminars
Your specific industry can be covered in
depth in a private seminar. We'd be happy to work with you to
develop a seminar that will give your staff the maximum benefit.
Seminar Topics Typically Discussed
This seminar can be modified for
private, on-site seminars. Customizations include expanding or
contracting topic list, covering multiple states in detail (see above
for the problems with this), expanding or
contracting the time of the seminar, etc. Please contact
us
Please note that this is a training seminar
